About D.J. "George" Gadsden
Hi my name is George, the name on my passport and driving licence is David. I am quite willing to explain why I have been called George for over 25 years while I work on your driveway or patio. I am English, I live and work in and around East Sussex and have done so all my life.
I am experienced in many forms of building work and have an extensive knowledge of groundworks, which you will be able to see on the gallery page.
I have spent many years driving a huge variety of machinery including JCB's, 360° excavators, mini diggers and the like. I have worked for East Sussex County Council for many years with their contracts division. Laying new roads, pavements, and working on drainage projects. I have much experience laying kerbs, bricks, blocks, slabs including sandstone walling and cobbles.
During the last 30 years I have worked on individual houses worth up to 5 million pounds in value and helped create some stunning landscaping and building projects. I have been lucky enough to work with some very expensive hand cut and machine cut stone and enjoy a challenge.
Tarmac has always been popular and I have an extensive knowledge in surfacing and re-surfacing and have travelled all over the Britain doing this.
If you would like to know more about me and my travels please visit my personal website at www.byegeorge.co.uk. It is not quite up-to-date but I think I have found just the people to do this for me, lovewebdesign.co.uk.
Do take the time to browse this website and if you would like me to undertake some work for you please feel free to drop me a line or give me a call using the details on my contact page.
Best for now,
George
